Today's Word
Ephesians 4:2
“with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,”
Reflection
Humility, gentleness, and patience lead into "bearing with one another in love." It shows that what sustains a relationship is not grand emotion but these small postures.
To bear with is to endure difference. It doesn't demand sameness but keeps the other close as they are. Patience stands beside it because bearing with takes time.
The closer the relationship, the more frequent the friction. Today, before trying to change someone, choose one act of bearing with them. A relationship is sustained not by great reconciliation but by daily small acts of bearing with.
