Today's Word

Luke 12:32

Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom.
Luke 12:32 (Berean Standard Bible)

Reflection

To be called a little flock is to be named small and weak just as we are. Jesus does not inflate that smallness or pretend it away. He says do not be afraid while still small, not once you have grown strong.

Notice that the reason not to fear rests not on our condition but on the Father's pleasure. Giving the kingdom is not a reluctant handout but something He delights to do. The promise leans on the heart of the Giver, not the worthiness of the receiver.

If you felt too small today, before trying to fix that smallness, recall the heart turned toward the little flock. Being small is no reason to be left out of love. It was a little flock who first received the call.
