Ephesians 3:20
“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us,”
Reflection
He is able to do "immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine." The size of my prayer is not the limit of His power. More than I ask, more even than I imagine, it overflows.
That power is not far off. It is "according to His power that is at work within us." The power already working inside me is the source of that overflow.
On a day you hesitate because your prayer seems too small, this verse widens the view. Rather than worrying whether what you ask is small, ask of the One who does immeasurably more. The size of the power is not bound to my imagining.
