Today's Word

Matthew 6:24

No one can serve two masters: Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
Matthew 6:24 (Berean Standard Bible)

Reflection

That no one can serve two masters declares the impossibility of holding both loosely. It directly confronts the heart that wants to release neither God nor money.

To hate one and love the other, to be devoted to one and despise the other — it comes down to priority. It seems you could have both, but at the moment of decision, one side shows.

What you truly serve is seen not in words but in choices. Examine today, in one small decision, where your priority faces. The direction of service is set by daily choices.
