Reflection

The word to commit your work to the LORD comes first. Before laying out a plan, decide to whom you will entrust it — entrusting set at the very start of the work.

After entrusting comes the promise that "your plans will be established." A plan handed over stands more firmly than one gripped tightly in your own fist. The work is set up in the place where control is released.

There are matters where the harder you grasp the outcome, the more anxiety grows. Entrust that matter first today. To commit is not the surrender of letting go but the trust of consigning it to a greater hand.
