Psalm 55:22

Reflection

The call to cast your burden is followed by a promise: He will sustain you. The act of laying down and the experience of being upheld are bound together as a pair.

"He will never let the righteous be shaken" means He keeps you from toppling — not because no wind blows, but because there is a hand holding the roots.

When you stagger under a heavy load carried alone, remember there is a place to set it down. To cast it is not a sign of weakness but a trust that chooses to be held.
