“As good stewards of the manifold grace of God, each of you should use whatever gift he has received to serve one another.”
Reflection
"Use whatever gift you've received to serve one another." What you've received is not for yourself alone but for one another. The purpose of a gift is not self-display but service.
The phrase "as good stewards" stands out. The owner of the grace received is not me. To hold it well, use it, and pass it on is the place of a steward. Gripped, it becomes mine; shared, the grace flows.
On a day what you have seems small, ask whom it is for. In serving one person with what you've received, the entrusted grace does its part.
