Ephesians 5:20

Reflection

"For everything" and "always" give thanks, it says. Not in particular moments but at all times, in all things, weave thanks throughout. It is a life where gratitude is not an occasional reaction but a constant undercurrent.

The channel of thanks is "in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Not vague positivity but gratitude rooted in grace received. So even when circumstances shake, the ground doesn't run dry.

There are days thanks feels like a duty. On such days, rather than forcing joy, slowly recall one thing already received. Constant gratitude grows not from a great resolve but from small reckonings.
