Reflection

"To live is Christ, and to die is gain." It is a confession that neither side is to be feared. While living, you are filled with Christ; in death, you draw nearer to Him.

This boldness is not from treating death lightly. Because the center of life is clear, you are unshaken even before death. When what you live for is clear, the end holds no fear either.

On a day the thought of the end makes you shrink back, ask what you are living for now. When the reason for living is clear, even death becomes not a loss but a different meeting.
