Today's Word
Romans 8:28
“And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.”
Reflection
That all things work together for good doesn't mean everything that happens is good. Bad things are certainly real. It means those scattered pieces are finally woven in one direction.
There are events that, right now, look like loose threads. There is pain and loss whose meaning is hard to find. This verse doesn't hand you an answer on the spot; it gives you the sight to see that the weaving is still underway.
The comfort is that the One who works the good is God, not you. You can set down the pressure to make everything meaningful yourself. What picture today's single piece belongs to, time will show.
