Psalm 133:1
“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!”
Reflection
"How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony!" Unity is described with two words together — good and pleasant. Living together is not only right but beautiful to behold.
Unity is not becoming the same but staying in one place while remaining different. That staying carries the labor of bearing with and embracing one another. Perhaps it is called so good and pleasant precisely because it isn't easy.
On a day worn out by relational friction, when being alone seems easier, recall the beauty of unity. To stay in one place with another is laborious, yet goodness and beauty dwell in that place.
