Today's Word
Psalm 139:7
“Where can I go to escape Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence?”
Reflection
"Where can I go, where can I flee?" This question may rise from a heart wanting to run. Yet the realization that His Spirit reaches everywhere turns not to fear but to comfort.
The fact that you cannot escape reads differently here. He is present even in the place broken enough that you'd want to hide. It means He is with you to the deepest, darkest place.
Even on a day weary enough to want to be alone, there is One present in that place. An inescapable presence becomes the greatest comfort in the middle of loneliness.
