Today's Word
Psalm 32:5
“Then I acknowledged my sin to You and did not hide my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah”
Reflection
He confesses that the moment he stopped hiding his iniquity, it was forgiven. The time between forgiveness and confession is short. The instant you bring it out, forgiveness is already there.
What was heavy while hidden is released the moment it is confessed. The weight of sin often comes less from the wrong itself than from concealing it. To bring it into the open is the beginning of becoming light.
If there is something you've held alone and let fester, bring it out and speak it today. Forgiveness waits not in the place of hiding but in the place of disclosure.
