Psalm 37:5

Reflection

"Commit your way to the LORD" comes first, and "He will do it" follows. Committing and accomplishing are a pair. The promise begins in the place where you set down the pressure to accomplish it all yourself.

Committing takes the will. The condition "trust in Him" is attached. You release your hand, but release it in trust. Not neglect, but consigning it into a greater hand.

There are matters where the harder you grasp the outcome, the more the road blurs. Commit that road first today. When you accept that there is One who accomplishes, the step grows lighter.
